Box office · hall, theater, conference

The WhatsApp screenshot does not get in.

The ticket is not a PDF or a link for the group chat. The buyer carries it in their wallet and, at the door, shows a signed presentation that expires. The staff laptop points its camera. The first read marks the entry. The photo they sent to four friends arrives late.

A real desk: the staff laptop or phone, the Door screen, the camera. No turnstile.

That string expires. A group-chat screenshot stops working as soon as it expires, or as soon as someone has already gone through.

Door screen

The desk camera

Point it at the code on the phone, not at a printed PDF.

Waiting The account that created the show, or someone on its list, is who marks the entry.

A demonstration on this page. At the desk, the duplicate message is: “This ticket already went through the door.” Marking entry is a write to the box office: if the venue loses the network, the camera sees the code and the mark does not close.

How the line works

Three things the protocol already does.

01 · Listing

You publish price and capacity

Title, face value and capacity. Once tickets are sold, that price stays fixed, so a return is still the same amount.

02 · Purchase

Up to four per person

Each purchase pays face value, not one peso more inside the contract. It can be transferred once, as a gift or up to that price. A second transfer does not exist.

03 · Door

The signature has to be the holder's

The camera reads cigo:boleto:…. If the signature is not the current holder's, they do not enter. If they already went through, the screen says so and the ticket can no longer be transferred or returned.

The settlement

What a ticketing company keeps, and what this box office does not take.

For halls of 500 to 3,000 people, the hit is usually a 12% to 18% fee and money that arrives weeks later. Here the buyer pays face value. The contract does not keep a percentage. The withdrawal is made by whoever created the show, when the window closes.

In the line A PDF or a screenshot forwarded on WhatsApp. A signed presentation on the phone, with an expiry time.
The same photo Several people try the same file. The second read says that ticket already went through the door.
Fee 12% to 18% on top of the price, charged to the public. What comes in is face value. There is no protocol percentage on the purchase or the withdrawal.
When you get paid Settlement usually arrives days or weeks after the show. Whoever created the show withdraws it, when the window they published closes.
Equipment The ticketing company's app, if its network answers. The team's laptop or phone, with the camera on the Door screen.

800 × $450 × 15% = $54,000. That is the extra money in the fee, not a commission this box office charges.

If they do not go

Before going through, the ticket can return to the box office. The buyer gets their share back and the seat returns to sale. After the door, there is no transfer and no return.
